Problem

A sighting, a rescue and a city report rarely describe the same animal.

Residents, rescue organizations and municipalities each see part of an animal’s story. StrayPaw gives every animal one record that follows it from the first report through field work and care to the city view.

I lead a five-person team on technical direction, product strategy and user experience, translating animal welfare needs into reporting, case management and care-tracking workflows.

One report, three views

The same record, shaped for each person who touches it.

Record SP-D-K43FQP

Resident report for an ear condition at Sukrawar Pettai, record SP-D-K43FQP.
Resident report, NGO workspace and municipality city view connected by record SP-D-K43FQP.
Live register of dog profiles, each with its own StrayPaw ID.
Each animal has one profile and ID, shared by everyone who works on its case.

Workflow

One case. Every step dated.

  1. 01

    Reported

A resident submits a sighting on the web or by WhatsApp.

  2. 02

    Team arrived

The case is assigned and the field team’s arrival is logged.

  3. 03

    Care recorded

Treatment and care entries attach to the animal’s record.

  4. 04

    Case closed

The outcome is recorded and visible to the reporter and the city.

Field team route from report to care location.
A real case replayed: report, team arrival, care and closure on one timeline.
WhatsApp reporting: a photo of a dog outside a café becomes report SP-0428 and is assigned to a team member.
Photo in, care in motion: a WhatsApp photo and location become a case, assigned to a named team member.
